MY FRIENDSHIP, MY BLESSINGS

Hello Precious Blog Bestie, I believe that experience is the only language that time truly understands. It can be difficult to keep up with this equation at times, but it’s important to search for what adds value to your life. Unfortunately, an unexpected reality got in the way for me recently. In June, my phone answered a call that was never meant for it, and it caused some problems. However, I am grateful to my father for helping me get a new sound phone and for the support of my community during this time.

Just for starters, I have a YouTube Channel now and this is the link to subscribe to it https://youtube.com/@JWOY. *Please support your girl😊* and at the top of this page you would see some social media icons, please connect with me if you haven’t.

I have spoken so much about myself already, so now I have to throw this back to you, I hope you are doing well and that you have something to be grateful for in this season. I would be awaiting your response in the comment section🤗. As World Friendship Day approaches, I want to dedicate this blog post to all my friends, readers, and community. Today, I will be sharing the blessings of friendship and community in our lives.

I had a mishap with my phone in June when I attended my colleague’s church. Let me share with you the story of how it all happened, when I got to the church, I attempted to close my bag but I had no idea my phone was in between the lock part. Since I changed my screen, it hasn’t been the same again. Once I noticed my phone was there, I pushed it down and closed the bag, only for me to check my phone after church or during, and saw that a part of the screen had gone blank.

You know the way television looks when it has cracked, It was still responding to me and I could still type on it but by the time I went back home, unfortunately, it eventually stopped working altogether. It wasn’t responding, and at this point, I could only see just a little part of my screen the rest part was blank or black already😩.

I called my dad to tell him the situation of my phone and with the sweet Land Lord and Landlady I have, I was able to connect their internet to my system and complete the work I had to do that day. You must be wondering why I am sharing so many details but keep reading you would find out soon…

Got to work on Monday and informed my colleagues about it and they made several suggestions for me, the one I took was to get a wifi for my system and then buy a new phone. But finances weren’t readily available to get the phone. I spoke to my dad about it and he said no problem. So from that time, I stopped using an Android phone and started using my system and the small office phone for calls.

Along the line, I had told myself I would officially start my YouTube in July on my Sisters’ remembrance and this child of God had no phone to shoot any video or to even set up her YouTube page. Now this is where God came through for me through the community.

One of my colleagues named Irene *she is a sweetheart* had just bought an iPhone, so I use her phone to take pictures but can you believe she gave me her phone to shoot my YouTube videos for the two weeks I didn’t have a phone to shoot with. It wasn’t like the videos would be shot in a few minutes, one of the videos took me up to an hour to set the place, calm my nerves and shoot the video. This is just one of the ways I received love. My other colleague let me open my Instagram on her phone because I had limitations to the system Instagram. I was able to schedule some content for my Instagram people, No one could have guessed I wasn’t with a phone at that moment.

More testimonies to share from this, most of my things like Whatsapp, Instagram, YouTube, Bumpa, and some other apps were open on one of my friend’s phones in church. I didn’t have a phone to go online and be active but with the people I had around me, you could hardly tell that my phone had spoilt.

In conclusion, I want to encourage you to find a community to belong to and cherish them. When you need help, don’t hesitate to ask for it, and remember to also offer help if you can. Today’s blog post is a shout-out to all the amazing friends out there who are always ready to offer financial support, resources, advice, and more. However, it’s important to ensure that your friendships and relationships make and build you to be a better person.

Before I go, I want to remind you to check out my YouTube channel for a video about friendship that I will be shooting today. Thank you for reading.

Before I finally end this, today I would be shooting my video about Friendship for my YouTube page, so if you didn’t click on the link at the top, this is it here https://youtube.com/@JWOY. Do not miss out on what I would be sharing (smiling emoji).

Till I write again…

Your Blog Bestie,

Omoye
