Happy Good Friday!
This period is all about Easter which signifies the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, who paid it all for us. He made us free from sin. When Christ died our sinful nature died as well and after Christ rose, we rise with Him into a new life.
I am currently studying the books of Romans and I would be sharing with you 8 realities that came with Christ’s death for us (Easter) that I got while studying the Books of Romans;
1. Romans 5:2-3~ We have confidence that we can share in God’s Glory and no matter what we face we have Joy and Peace within us.
2. Romans 5:8~We are loved by God no matter who we are and what we might have done. Christ died for us while we were still sinners, so it doesn’t matter what sin we have committed, this death is for those sin. Live in that reality today that you are loved by God.
3. Roman 5:10~You have been reconciled with the Father. Through the death of Jesus and His resurrection. My dear blog bestie you have been reconciled with the Father, this means you can have a direct relationship with the Father.
4. Romans 5:16~You have been justified by the blood of Jesus that paid the price on the cross. So, therefore, the devil has nothing against you to hold you down and be captive because your case has been cleared. You have been justified in Christ Jesus.
5. Romans 6:4-6~You have received a new life through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. You have a new life in Christ. Live in that reality that you no longer live by self but by the leading of the Holy Spirit.
6. Romans 6:14~You are no longer under law but under grace. Live in the reality that the grace of God is with you always ad at all times.
7. Romans 6:18~Through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, you have been set free from sin and have become a slave to righteousness not a slave to sin. Sin no longer has dominion over you but you live in the reality of righteousness in Christ Jesus.
8. Romans 6:23~You have eternal life. Through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, you have received eternal life with God Almighty.
I pray you live in these realities, and that you no longer let sin rule over your life. you remember always Christ has paid it, so you cannot be condemned by the devil and even when things don’t seem okay you have joy and peace, because you are confident that God is going to come through.
