BUILDING THE RIGHT HABITS FOR EXCEEDING GROWTH

Happy new month blog bestie, welcome to the month of March. I welcome you into a month of exceeding growth. As the month states, we are walking into an exceeding growth in all our affairs, whether it be finance, spiritual life, career, or personal life.

To grow this month spiritually, personally, financially, and career-wise, I will be sharing 5 habits you should practice and utilize effectively and they are;

1. Build a Habit of Genuine Fellowship with God: Take time this month to know God better for yourself, set a time in the day and at night to fellowship with God In Spirit and in Truth. Another way to build a genuine fellowship with God is by studying God’s Word. You can start by reading the Book of John or Romans to get to know God better from His Word.

2. Build the Habit of Sowing: this falls under our financial life, everyone desires to be financially stable in life but you cannot achieve it just by words alone and without actions. You can not achieve that if all you do is spend and not keep. Apart from the desire to be financially stable, you need to take action towards that desire, and that action is saving or investing a percentage of your income.

Get a percentage of your income to be reserved. Investing is great, but before investing start saving first, and gather. You can save using your bank or an online saving app. Note: When I started saving I used kolo, but that would not be advisable at the moment.

3. Build a Habit of Learning: learning can never end as far as you are alive and active. Stop that mentality of “this is how I do things and this is how I would continue to do things”. Explore other ways, learn from people’s experiences, learn from your own experience, and learn from books, podcasts, or articles. We have the privilege to access things easily online and now take good advantage of it.

4. Build the habit of Obedience: When I say obedience, I’m saying obedience to God’s instruction. As fellowship with God is important in our spiritual growth, obeying the instructions God gives us in our secret place is also important.

Obeying what the Holy Spirit tells you is important. I’m emphasizing the importance because if you are only fellowshipping with God and you are not obeying Him, it would be difficult for God to rely on you for assignments.

5. Build the Habit of Reading: the little experience I have had from reading books has broadened my knowledge about things. Pick out a book to read this month, even if it is just one book, and start somewhere. Books are not the only thing you can read, they are articles, newsletters, and even blogs that relate to your career path or just for your personal or spiritual growth, you can also read articles on financial growth. I read Atomic Habit by James Clear last month, If you plan to grow personally I recommend reading Atomic Habit.

Going forward whatever book I may have read that can be impactful, I will recommend it here in this community. We grow exceedingly this month and we are helped by God to accomplish all our set goals. In Jesus’ name, Amen. I wish you once again a Happy New Month.

Till I write again…
