HOW I SPENT MY LAST WEEK IN 2022

Merry Christmas🎄🎄🎄

Today is not the 25th, but the Christmas spirit continues. This would be my last post for the year 2022 and I’m super grateful to God for helping me to be consistent for the whole three months since October.

But first, before I move on to today’s blog as I always do, I want to know how you spent your Christmas. I know the economy hasn’t been favourable for Nigerians, but I do hope you were able to enjoy and celebrate the Birth of Christ.

I posted on my Instagram page I would be sharing how my Christmas went and how I spent the remaining week of the year.

Merry Christmas from my Dad and I🤗🤗

Christmas this year was on Sunday which was good for me. Hear me out here. My church is in Edo state while I live in Delta state, but they are both located on the outskirts of the states. Every Christmas, we always went late for service, most times we meet closing prayer or people outside already greeting each other.

So, having Christmas on Sunday was really special for me. I’m not sure I have experienced a Christmas on Sunday before. I woke really early, around 4 am, thinking service would start by 6 am, but the church we went to started by 8 am, so we were early. I got to attend full service and permit me to say I also listened to Christmas Message.

I also met a friend of mine from Bowen, the bonding was short but still beautiful. In the evening, we went out to the Beach to have fun but it wasn’t really fun for me, although I enjoyed the food.

Merry Christmas from the Ladies in Ajamufua’s Family🤗🤗

Anyway, Monday was great. I woke up late that morning because I had no plan to leave the house initially. I may or may not have mentioned it but I’m a Korean movie lover and I’m following the series “Alchemy of Soul” and “Forbidden Marriage”, because of the whole event on Saturday and Sunday, I had not watched the latest episodes so I took out time to watch it. I also did my devotional from Triump30 devotional, topic “The Perfect Gift”. I ate, of course, and then in the evening, my parents went with me to check out my apartment.

I’m actually very happy because the place I got is close to my primary place of assignment, on our way going we used Google map and Google Map misled us, it took us in the opposite direction and a journey of 3 hours to and fro became 6 hours, it was still an experience.

While my Tuesday went almost in the same direction as Monday, woke up, did my devotion, and tried to do some personal things. Oh, on Monday night, I took time to write down my goals. It has been in my head and I really needed to write it down, just waiting for the right jotter I saw it on Sunday when we came back from the beach.

Then on Wednesday, I woke up early, did my family devotion, prayed, and spent most of the day watching a movie on Netflix and my system. I also got to speak with 2 of my friends, we talked about certain things God has been doing for them and I was really happy for both of them.

On Thursday, I woke up early to do my personal devotion because I was going to leave the house before family devotion. My Local Government Inspector posted on our group chat that they would be Community Development Service (CDS) and it was compulsory, I was surprised because I thought since it was the festive period there would be no CDS but anyway it happened.

It was to start by 8 am and I left the house by 7 am to get my uniform from my friend’s place, I honestly thought I could do all my movement in one hour and reach there in time but that wasn’t possible due to distance, traffic and some other things, so instead of getting to my Local Government by 8 am, I got there by 10 am.

Luckily for me, she didn’t shout I submitted my document and she told me to go to the INEC office, the hustle was real while entering and leaving the INEC office, a lot of people came to get their PVC, all I did was to scan the voter’s card and send them to a lady in the office. I was there for about two hours, I wrote my name and then did my biometrics.

I was excited to go for the CDS because I saw this as an opportunity to know some people in my local government and my mission was achieved, I got to know four people and one of them helped me find my way back home. I came back home and what welcomed me was the movie “Bahuballi”, I ate and then made my weekly post on LinkedIn. If you are not on LinkedIn, that should be a resolution for next year, maybe I would make a post about it.

Today Friday, I plan to finalize writing my goals, especially my financial goals, and make some designs for my business brand Marvey Creation.

I’m not sure how my Saturday will go but I think I will just continue what I could not finish today Saturday and then in the evening, we have our cross-over service 🎉🎉

As this would be my last post for the year, I want to say a special big thank you to all my blog besties (readers) who took out time to click, read and take further steps to comment on my posts, I really appreciate it.

I pray in this new year 2023, we all receive unexpected growth in all areas of our lives. I love you but Jesus loves you more and wants the best for you. SEE YOU ALL IN 2023🤗🤗

Till I write again…

Your blog bestie,

Omoye
